You have entered a crystal dome in which shrubs, bushes, grasses and a great many ferns grow. It looks for like a giant version of one of those ornamental gardens under glass they used to sell at the Ponce City Market. Except this one is a lot bigger and the growth has run a bit wild.

With nothing better to do, you poke about a bit in the bushes until you disturb someone sleeping in the underbrush.

“Uh oh, cuz,” Big ‘Lo whispers. “That’s Cuddles! He’s a crazy supervillain who loves to hug everyone he meets.”

“That doesn’t seem so bad,” you say with a shrug.

“Not until he’s crushing your face into his chest and smiling with delight as he pulverizes your skull into dust.”

Too late! Cuddles has wrapped his massive arms around you! If you don’t do something fast, you’re dead.

Your best bet is to try to break the crushing embrace, which is growing tighter by the second.

Draw a card for yourself, and then draw again for Cuddles.

If your card is lower than Cuddles’ card, catch your breath at Siafu Sleeps with the Fishes.

If your card is higher, however, you break the embrace without injury.

If you do survive the encounter, things get complicated.

If you arrived at this sphere directly, or as a Frowalker with no further abilities left, draw a card.

If you score anything OTHER THAN 6, 9, 12 or 13, go to the section indicated on the table in 162.

If you score 6, 9, 12, or 13, you have Frowalker abilities for TWO sections.

If you have now become a Frowalker, you may walk the path southeast to 138 or east to 133.

In either case you will retain your Frowalker abilities for one further section if you survive the next sphere.
